Daniel, happily married to his beloved wife Laura for 26 years, is the proud father of a 27-year-old son, a 25-year-old daughter, and one grandson. He deeply cherishes his family. Having devoted 14 years to serving as the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Fontana, Daniel sees himself as a community pastor. In addition to his pastoral duties, he serves as a chaplain for the Fontana Police Department, an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, an active member of the Fontana Rotary Club, and plays an integral role in the Fontana school district.
Pastor Daniel, who grew up fatherless in Delmon Heights, San Bernardino in the late 1980s, where they had the highest murder rate at the time, experienced life in a predominantly African American community plagued by poverty, gang violence , drugs, and ineffective leadership.
Despite the challenges he faced, Daniel emerged as a beacon of hope, determined to bring the truth of the word of God to his community. His firsthand witnessing of the devastation caused by a lack of positive role models, flawed leadership and evil fueled his commitment to being a man of God's truth in a community in desperate need of guidance and inspiration. Daniel was introduced to Calvary Chapel San Bernardino Red Barn, where he dedicated his life to Jesus at 21 years old. He underwent eleven years of discipleship before going to the School of Ministry in Costa Mesa, where Daniel was able to sit under Chuck Smith directly for two years and hear firsthand from Chuck the heartbeat and philosophy of Calvary Chapel. Graduating from seminary in 2007, Daniel was called into the ministry to return to his community and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Today, Daniel is not afraid to stand for righteousness in a public square. He passionately spreads the message of Christ's love and redemption, offering hope and transformation to those seeking spiritual guidance.
